The conference will focus on applications of e-learning in relation to * Quality of e-learning * Management of Change at the University/Faculty Level * Engineering Education * Virtual and Remote Laboratories * Adult Education * Public Administration * European Law * Communication Skills and Languages Education * Mathematics and Natural Sciences * Management & Economics * Experience with LMS * People with learning disabilities Organization of invited sessions focussed on other problems relevant to the e-learning is welcomed. During the conference several plenary sessions will be given by leading experts working in the area. The presentations (possible in an oral form or via posters) will be split into specialized symposia. A round-table discussion will analyse actual problems of e-learning implementation in Slovakia. |

INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP QUALITY OF E-LEARNING organized in cooperation with EADTU within the e-xcellence+ project. INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION The Best Designed Course/Lesson Award Aims: * To promote a rational use of new technologies in education with emphasis to the accessibility and quality of delivered learning. * To develope technology in relation to the pedagogical aspects of learning. * To promote production of course materials according to the international standards and contribute to the competitiveness of the Slovak dessigners in the international dimensions. * To highlight high quality solutions and to show the way to the others. * To promote mutual communication, experience sharing, interactions and discussion among particular designers, educational institutions and the learning community about possibilities braght by the new trends in education. Conditions for participation: * The competition is open to students, graduates, lecturers and scientists active in all types of schools and universities and non-profit organizations. Commercial organisations can only participate by joint submission with the above-mentioned partners, else they will be evaluated in a special section. * The competition is part of the conference programme, i.e. the submitted products are presented as the standard conference contributions and must be registered by sending abstracts by given deadline. The detailed competition registration, as well as the study package has to be submitted by November 30th, 2008. * The competitors enable to jury access to all items of the lesson/course (both to the printed and electronic materials, study guides, manuals, etc.) and to the learning environment (login/password). * Only the presented products will be evaluated! * The submitting authors agree with using some parts of the submitted products for the promotion of the competition. * On request, organizers will return the materials submitted for the competition back to the competitors. |

konferencií, dištančné školenia učiteľov, inštruktorov a trénerov

v tlačenej aj elektronickej forme, technické, hardvérové a softvérové
služby na manažovanie a administráciu výučby, na manažovanie virtuálnych
a telematických laboratóri a ďalšie služby v oblasti propagácie a
poradenských služieb.
